What are LifeTeen Summer Camps?
Camp Hidden Lake & Camp Covecrest are retreat centers and summer camps in Dahlonega, Georgia & Tiger, Georgia respectively.
They are owned by Life Teen which is a Catholic Youth Ministry organization. This camp combines adventure and faith in a unique setting, gathering hundreds of young Catholics from around the country for a week of encountering Christ in new ways.
These camps have something for every student whether they love sports, music, crafts, swimming and more, there is a place for them. Students will spend their week meeting other young Catholics, canoeing, navigating ropes courses, playing a myriad of sports, swimming the lake, praying in new ways, worshiping through music, receiving reconciliation, attending daily Mass, and going through the famous mud pit obstacle course. This is a week they will likely never forget!
What are the Details for Camp?
Transportation - We will be taking 2x rented vans up to Georgia. We plan to leave on Sunday to arrive at the Camp on Monday. We will return on Saturday late evening. More details to come as it gets closer.
Food - Camp Hidden Lake covers all our meals while we are there, including a sack lunch to take with us on the final day. They are very attentive to allergies. Students will be responsible for a few meals on their own while we are on the road to and from camp.
Chaperones - The camp will be chaperoned by adult volunteers from our parish. Including Tom Lelyo, who is a parent of 2x campers. We are looking for an adult volunteer with a nurse background if you are available!
Accommodations - We will be sleeping in air conditioned bunk houses at the campground. Students will need to pack their own bedding (sheets or sleeping bag etc.) for the twin-sized beds in the houses.

At Life Teen, our camp grounds are holy ground. The Lord dwells here and not just in the tabernacles and chapels. Jesus, Himself, assured us that “… where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20). He is in our midst and in countless moments each camp week — both scheduled and spontaneous — nothing could be more true.
Teens feel the Lord’s presence the moment they arrive and through daily mass, worship, Bible study and other spiritually engaging moments, the sacraments and the Catholic faith take fire like never before. Summer camps aren’t just any home, they’re the Father’s house.

This year, our goal is to transform 50 young people’s lives through the Life Teen Summer Camp programs.
To do that, we’ll need to raise close to $50,000; but more importantly we’re going to need 50+ individuals to spiritually and financially sponsor members of our group.
