About youth MINISTRY
“And the Word Became FLESH”
WHY we do what we do:
To help students know WHO they are (Made in God's image and likeness), WHAT they're called to do in this life (Universal Call to Holiness), and HOW to be successful (Discipleship/Evangelization)
HOW we do this is through:
Creating safe & engaging environments where students can ask questions and get real answers
Invite students to encounter the WORD through Prayer, Scripture, & Sacraments
Connect students with like minded individuals (peers AND mentors) so they can be built up by the community
A WIN, through this lens would look like this:
Students feel welcomed - even if they "don't believe" or if parents are forcing them
Students WANT to come to Church
Students get involved in Parish Life (music, altar servers, SVDP, food drive, KoC, etc)
Students invite their friends to Church
Students ask engaging questions
Students have a full, conscious, and active participation in the prayer we do (learn the angelus)
Students have life affirming conversations with one another and adult volunteers
